Lisa Mackinder, Head of Electronic Resources and Serials Acquisitions at UCI Libraries, manages the life cycle of print serials and electronic resources across all academic fields served by UCI Libraries. She is involved in the implementation of UCI's ERMS, and is especially concerned about standardizing the data used in ERMSs across institutions, as well as customizing the ERMS to handle the growing number of e-books acquired by UCI Libraries. She realizes that seems like a contradiction. Lisa has spoken about electronic resources and e-books at several professional conferences, including ER&L, NASIG, LITA National Forum, Internet Librarian and Charleston. She has an MLIS from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
