Jeroen de Boer works at Bibliotheekservice Fryslân as new media specialist. He focuses on new and emerging technologies as a chance for libraries to find new ways to interact with people and content. 

He likes to take a look outside the realm of the library to find inspiration. This is one of the reasons to look into the impact the maker movement has on libraries. 

Jeroen is project leader for FryskLab, Europe's first official mobile library FabLab. He is also board member of the FabLab Benelux Foundation.
