Andrew Youngkin is the Emerging Technologies/Evaluation Coordinator at the National Network of Libraries of Medicine, Southeastern/Atlantic region, located at the University of Maryland, Baltimore Health Sciences/Human Services Library. Mr. Youngkin teaches classes on a variety of technology and evaluation topics ranging from emerging technology trends, Internet search strategies, website usability, and accessibility. He earned a Master of Library Science in 2005 from Emporia State University along with a certificate in Information Management. Andrew has been an NLM fellow for biomedical informatics at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute and has earned the MLA Level 2 Consumer Health Specialization. Andrew is married with 2 children and enjoys traveling, mountain biking, snowboarding, and motorcycling. |
