Ross Ian Vance is an instructional designer and learning consultant for organizations across the United States. In addition, he teaches for Lee University in Cleveland, TN. Formally, he served as the Director of Training and Process Engineering for SkyAngel Broadcasting. His primary focus is assisting organizations in transitioning to using LMS platforms, online learning applications, and social media to train more effectively. His recent publications include articles on social media and open-source learning. He, also, recently spoke at the Future of Education Summit in Florence, Italy.
Ross is currently developing The Center for Creative Training and Development, a grass-roots publication to address the current challenges in constructing more effective training programs. He is also currently completing a doctorate in Leadership in Learning at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He holds a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, a Bachelors in Education, and a Bachelors in Opera Performance, all from Lee University. In addition to his academic experiences, Ross Ian and his wife Julie are new parents to their son, Eric Aiden Thomas Vance. |
