Amy Mather is in charge of Programming & Life Long Learningfor adults for Omaha Public Library. Major past projects include rebranding the Omaha Public Library and redesign of the website rolled out in February 2010. Outreach initiatives include business database training for Omaha employers, game nights for adults, LitFest, Culinary Conference (in partnership with MCC) and literary speed dating. As part of her outreach initiatives, she was recognized along with a colleague as one of Library Journal's Mover & Shakers in 2010. She currently serves on the daOMA (design alliance Omaha) board, served as past speaker selection co-chair for TEDx Omaha 2010 and graduated from Leadership Omaha, a 10-month program to develop community leaders. |
