Nzinga Holley-Harris, Librarian, Department of Justice

Nzinga has been a librarian with the Department of Justice since 2009. Her duties focus on a variety of technology projects and collection development. She received her Master’s in Library science in 2007 from Catholic University and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo in 2001. She knew she wanted to do something with computers and libraries after 3 years in the Network Support division of the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library system during her college years. Prior to joining the Department of Justice, Nzinga spent 8 years as a software engineer and configuration management analyst at Lockheed Martin. She is proud to have been chosen as an ALA Emerging Leader in 2013.
