Angie Fickert Paterek is an experienced instructor with over 20-years’ experience teaching in business, college and high school environments. As a degreed educator, Angie has facilitated programs in a wide range of general education subjects and business skills including various technology- related topics. Angie is a member of the American Society for Training and Development, member of the NEO-RLS Continuing Advisory Committee, a co-chair for the NEO-RLS Training and Staff Development Network, and a regular caller of the “T is for Training” podcast show. She has presented to a wide-range of audiences including speaking at ASTD chapter meetings and to a national sales force. Angie is currently the Training Manager at Rocky River Public Library with overall responsibility for both the Adult Public Computer Training program and staff development.
Angie became a resident of virtual world Second Life in 2007. Through her avatar, Angie is many things in the virtual world. She is a builder, business owner, live music venue owner, blogger and educational consultant. She has worked with educational and business institutions as a consultant to research and make recommendations for the creation of learning environments. |
