I worked at IBM for 20 years in both hardware and software development and support. I have a degree in Computer Science and MLS from Southern Connecticut University. I decided that I wanted to use my computer knowledge to do ‘something’ in libraries. I was hired at Marlboro to help create opportunities for new experiences for patrons using the latest technologies and social networking tools. We did it before it was cool.
I bought my first computer in 1990, a $2600 Compaq Presario with a 100 MB processor so that I could play the Kings Quest computer game series by Sierra. I love all video and computer games - my favorites being Mass Effect, World of Warcraft, Fallout 3 and all things Final Fantasy. I also enjoy my greyhounds, cats, and sometimes my 2 teenagers.
