  |  Dr. Bearman is an Associate Professor History and Dean of University Libraries at Washburn University, where he has led a revitalization the institutions Libraries during the last 2 1/2 years.  The Libraries have returned to the centrality of academic life at Washburn as they embraced the importance of teaching information literacy to students and faculty.  Bearman is a published historian and sought after public speaker who currently serves as the Chair of the Deans and Directors of State University Libraries in Kansas.  |
