The Information Advisor Newsletter Is Acquired by Information Today, Inc.

May 17, 2004, Medford, NJ—Information Today, Inc. (ITI) has announced the acquisition of The Information Advisor newsletter from FIND/SVP Inc. The newsletter, edited by information industry guru, Robert Berkman, is now in its 16th year of continuous publication. Mr. Berkman will continue as editor under the new ownership.

The Information Advisor specializes in reviews and side-by-side comparisons of business information services and resources. It is delivered monthly as a PDF and has a subscriber base of approximately 600 information specialists, competitive intelligence professionals, and market researchers. In addition to the 12 monthly issues, subscribers receive quarterly supplements in the field of knowledge management.

“We are very pleased that Information Today will be adding The Information Advisor to their stable of publications that deal with the issues facing information and knowledge management professionals,” said David Walke, chief executive officer of FIND/SVP. “Readers of The Information Advisor will surely benefit from the expanded editorial purview that Information Today brings to the newsletter, and ITI’s marketing efforts should bring even more information professionals to this important resource.” FIND/SVP clients will continue to enjoy discounted annual subscription prices.

Tom Hogan, president and CEO of ITI, said, “We have admired the strong editorial content of The Information Advisor for many years. We couldn’t be more pleased to have the newsletter in our portfolio of periodicals. Having Bob Berkman on board as an ITI editor is icing on the cake for us.”
