Dates Announced for Internet Librarian 2004 in Monterey, California

March 8, 2004, Medford, NJ—Information Today, Inc.(ITI) announced today that the Internet Librarian (IL) conference and exhibit will return to the Monterey Conference center, Doubletree Hotel, and Monterey Marriott, in Monterey, California, November 15–17, 2004. After 7 years, Internet Librarian stands out as the conference and exhibition for librarians and information professionals interested in Internet- and technology-based products and services.

With new Internet developments taking place every day, it can be difficult to keep up with the newest tools and techniques. Internet Librarian 2004 brings the latest strategies and tips to attendees with keynote speakers, workshops, and an exhibit hall showcasing the most up-to-date services and products.

Speaking Opportunities
Internet Librarian 2004 will cater to all interests and all levels of knowledge with four simultaneous tracks plus many workshops and networking opportunities. Some of this year’s tracks and themes will encompass: managing content and knowledge assets, Web tools, e-learning and training, case studies of Internet and Intranet librarians, Web development and management, digitizing resources, streaming multimedia, and content management. Speakers are encouraged to focus on practical applications and case studies, as well as technical and managerial issues.

If you would like to participate as a speaker at Internet Librarian 2004, please complete the submission form at www.infotoday.com/il2004/SpeakerSubmissions.htm or contact Jane Dysart at jane@dysartjones.com. The deadline for submissions is April 26, 2004.

Exhibiting Opportunities
Every year, all types of librarians gather at IL to learn about the latest technologies and trends in the industry, to evaluate products and services, and to network with friends and colleagues. This meeting attracts an audience from the U.S., Canada, and all over the world, making it the most comprehensive exhibit of Internet products and services of its kind. Internet Librarian attendees are decision makers with purchasing power and are their organization’s primary buyers of Internet and electronic information.
