Internet Librarian Returns to Monterey, California in 2003!

Medford, NJ, February 27, 2003 — Information Today, Inc. (ITI) is pleased to announce that the 7th annual Internet Librarian conference and exhibition will take place November 3–5, 2003, at the Monterey Conference Center, Doubletree Hotel, and Monterey Marriott in Monterey, California. Internet Librarian 2003 will be the most comprehensive conference and exhibition for information professionals who are using, developing, and embracing Internet, Intranet, Extranet, and Web-based strategies.

As the Internet continues to provide unforseen opportunities surrounding our operations and customer relationships, it can be difficult keeping up with the new tools and techniques. This year’s Internet Librarian will focus on Cool Tools for Internet Content Pros, as well as exciting applications and opportunities for Internet librarians and content pros in all kinds of libraries.

Speaking Opportunities

Internet Librarian 2003, including INTERNET@SCHOOLS, will cater to all interests and all levels of knowledge with four simultaneous tracks plus many workshop and networking opportunities. Some of this year’s tracks and themes will encompass: managing content and knowledge assets; e-learning and training; case studies of Internet and Intranet librarians; digitizing resources; distance learning and instruction; streaming multimedia; and school media. Speakers are encouraged to focus on practical applications and case studies, as well as technical and managerial issues.
