March 1, 2002, Medford, NJ — Information Today, Inc. (ITI) is pleased to announce that the 6th annual KMWorld conference and exposition will take place October 29 – 31, 2002, at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA.

The world’s largest and most comprehensive conference and exposition dedicated to Content, Work, Collaboration, Knowledge and Intellectual Asset Management, and Business/Competitive Intelligence, the KMWorld conference offers a wide-ranging education program designed to meet the needs of strategic business technology decision-makers, tactical point solutions managers, and professional implementers.

Speaking Opportunities at KMWorld 2002
This year’s theme, Mainstreaming Knowledge Management, emphasizes that KM is not a stand-alone initiative, but is totally integrated into an organization’s business and work processes.  As in previous years, the conference encompasses programs on strategies, practices, processes, tools, and solutions for enterprise knowledge networks. Scheduled tracks for the 2002 program are KM Strategies: Business Processes and Models; KM Enablers: Tools and Technologies; Culture, Collaboration and eLearning for KM; Intranets, Portals and Content Management; and Applications, Practices and Implementing KM.

If you are interested in participating in KMWorld 2002 as a speaker or know someone who might be appropriate, please visit www.infotoday.com/kmw02/CallForPapers.htm to find out more about this year’s program, including how to submit a proposal to speak.

Exhibiting Opportunities at KMWorld 2002
In the exhibit hall, the conference is supported by leading companies in the Knowledge Management and Business Intelligence fields. Last year’s expo attracted more than 1,800 attendees, all interested in KM products and services. This year’s exposition promises to draw on that success, making KMWorld 2002 the place to reach the rapidly growing knowledge management community.
