(ITI) has announced that the annual InfoToday conference and exhibition will take place May 14-16, 2002, at the New York Hilton and Towers in New York City. The InfoToday event replaced the National Online Meeting last year, which served the needs of information professionals and the information industry for over 20 years.

Revitalized, InfoToday now blends sessions for the traditional National Online Meeting audience of information professionals, librarians, and researchers with programming designed for knowledge management practitioners and implementers. A global conference and exhibition, InfoToday features three core conferences: National Online 2002, KnowledgeNets 2002, and E-Libraries 2002.  
 

Speaking Opportunities at InfoToday 2002
The InfoToday conference will offer a wide-ranging program that caters to all interests and all levels of knowledge. Information Today, Inc. is looking for speakers who are knowledgeable, authoritative, and have the ability to focus presentations on practical applications, case studies, or technical and managerial issues. This year’s program hopes to address a variety of topics including managing the e-collection; professional searching; supporting system users; electronic publishing; publishing on the Web; content licensing, technological controls, and copyright law; knowledge management; and e-libraries.
