2001 Provides the Tools for Enabling Knowledge Management within an
Organization

2001 conference and exposition is now available.
As the global conference
and exposition on enterprise knowledge management (KM) and business intelligence,
KMWorld 2001 not only provides examples, models, and strategies
for enabling KM within an organization, but also focuses on the equally
important human and technology sides of KM by supplying case studies of
working initiatives.
The three-day program
(October 30 – November 1, Santa Clara Convention Center, Santa Clara, CA)
offers five simultaneous tracks daily and brings together more than 120
speakers in over 70 in-depth sessions. KMWorld 2001 will also offer
a number of half-day workshops on Monday, October 29. The complete conference

This year’s event
is powered by four keynote speakers, all leaders in the knowledge management
community: Carla O’Dell, president, American Productivity and Quality Center;

CEO, Sopheon. Topics include Successfully Implementing KM; Innovation,

KMWorld 2001 Exposition
The KMWorld Exposition
will include the top companies in the KM marketplace, giving visitors an
opportunity to explore the latest KM tools, products, solutions, and services.
A new feature this year is a presentation theatre that will house free
workshops during exhibit hours. A Grand Opening reception, sponsored by
Northern Light Technology, Inc., kicks off the Expo on Tuesday, October

KMWorld Awards
KMWorld magazine
is proud to present the first KMWorld Awards to be presented at KMWorld
2001. The awards are designed to celebrate the success stories of knowledge
management and carry a cash prize of $1,000 each. The KM Reality Award
recognizes an organization in which knowledge management is a positive
reality, while the KM Promise Award recognizes an organization that delivers
on its promise of providing its customers with innovative technology solutions
for implementing and integrating KM practices into their business processes.
