Dates Announced for Computers in Libraries 2002, Speaking and Exhibiting Opportunities Available

June 25, 2001, Medford, NJ — Information Today, Inc. (ITI) is pleased to announce that the 17th annual Computers in Libraries (CIL) will take place March 13-15, 2002, at the Washington Hilton and Towers in Washington, DC. Last year’s event attracted almost 3,000 participants.

Computers in Libraries is the most comprehensive North American conference and exhibition concentrating on all aspects of library technology and is specifically designed to meet the needs of librarians, information managers, systems professionals, Webmasters and Web managers, content evaluators, intranet strategists, portal creators, and information professionals. Catering to all interests and levels of knowledge, CIL 2002 will offer four simultaneous tracks plus many workshops, great networking opportunities, and an extensive exhibit hall. 
 

Speaking Opportunities at Computers in Libraries 2002
Computers in Libraries programming calls for speakers who are knowledgeable, authoritative, and have the ability to focus presentations on practical applications, case studies, and technical and managerial issues. This year’s tracks and themes encompass Managing Content, Web Tools, Search Engines, Case Studies of Internet and Intranet Librarians, Integrating the Net, Virtual and Digital Library Services, Library Automation and Infrastructure, Public Libraries, Managing Knowledge Assets, eLearning and Instruction, Web Management, eResources, Streaming Multimedia, School Libraries, and more.
