InfoToday 2001 Exhibition Opens May 15th at New York Hilton and Towers

April 19, 2001, Medford, NJ — The InfoToday 2001 exhibition will open its doors at the New York Hilton and Towers (1335 Avenue of the Americas) on Tuesday, May 15 at 10:00 a.m. Free exhibit hall tickets are available at https://www.infotoday.com/it2001/tickets.htm.

The exhibition, which will run through Thursday, May 17, will offer visitors an opportunity to meet with a variety of companies whose products and services can help them successfully manage information and knowledge within their organizations. Exhibiting companies include:

InfoToday 2001 E-Village
At this year’s exhibition, special floor areas are dedicated to knowledge management, e-business, and library systems in the E-Village, which features KMWorld Village and E-Libraries Village. The E-Village will also house a presentation theater as well as the Lexis-Nexis Cyber Connection where attendees will be able to check their e-mail. 

Free Seminars at InfoToday 2001 Presentation Theater
A series of free seminars covering a wide range of topical contemporary issues for information and knowledge professionals will take place in the presentation theater during the InfoToday exhibition. Open to all visitors, these seminars require no registration and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

Seminars scheduled include “Library Automation Systems: Evaluating & Implementing,” “Top Web Search Resources that Users Can Learn and Love,” “Ten Top Tech Trends: An Information Space Odyssey,” “Finding Electronic Resources: Tools & Techniques,” “Content Management for Information Professionals—A Global Broadcast,” and “Intranet Toolkits.” In addition, each day an “Exhibit Hall Roundup” will give an expert’s analysis and armchair view of what’s new on the floor, what’s hot, and what can be expected in the future.

Free Cybertours at the Lexis-Nexis Cyber Connection
InfoToday 2001 will also feature a series of free cybertours at the Lexis-Nexis Cyber Connection. Again, these are on a first-come, first-serve basis and are open to all exhibition visitors. Scheduled throughout the three days of the exhibition, tours include “Political Power Sites,” “Intranet Professional’s Intranet Resources,” “Five Extreme Searching Tips,” “Knowledge Management Resource Sites,” and “Competitive Intelligence Sites.”
