Librarian 2000 Provides Active Forum for Information Professionals
November 30, 2000, Medford, NJ — The 4th annual Internet Librarian Conference and Exhibition took place November 6-8, 2000, in Monterey, California. Internet Librarian is the only conference for information professionals who are using, developing, and embracing Inter/Intra/Extranet and Web-based strategies. With over 2,100 in attendance, Internet Librarian 2000 offered the perfect mixture of leading-edge ideas, tools, and events. The conference included over 100 dynamic speakers in four simultaneous tracks, pre- and post-conference workshops, evening sessions, and “hands-on” cybertours and cruises. The Internet Librarian 2000 exhibition featured nearly 100 top companies, including, LEXIS-NEXIS, Northern Light Technology, Swets Blackwell, Factiva, Silver Platter Information, and EBSCO.
