AIIP Named Association Sponsor of Internet Librarian 2000 Conference & Exhibition

Medford, NJ, October 10, 2000 — Information Today, Inc. announced today that the Association of Independent Information Professionals, Inc. (AIIP) has been named the Association Sponsor for the Internet Librarian 2000 Conference and Exhibition. Internet Librarian 2000 will be held November 6-8, 2000, at the Monterey Conference Center, Doubletree Hotel, and Monterey Marriott in Monterey, California.

According to Tom Hogan, Sr., president of Information Today, Inc., "The goals of the AIIP that have to do with insuring that their members have the finest tools and training at their disposal in order to best serve their clienteles are very much in line with the tone and substance of the Internet Librarian conference and exhibition. The Internet Librarian conference offers a mixture of leading-edge ideas and tools as well as exciting new events—all focused on information professionals and Internet-related technologies. The conference features over 100 dynamic speakers over four simultaneous tracks, plus 20 workshops, two evening sessions, and a 2-day Internet@Schools 2000 conference within a conference. Internet Librarian 2000 features several other "mini" conferences within the main conference—Web Wizard’s Symposium, Navigating the Net: Searching and Searchers, eResources, and Intranet Professional's Institute.
