Medford, NJ, March 1, 2000— Information Today, Inc. (ITI) is pleased to announce the 21st Annual National Online Meeting & IOLS 2000, the largest electronic information conference and exhibition in North America, to be held May 16-18, 2000, at the New York Hilton in New York City.

With its focus on information content rather than solely on information technology, the National Online Meeting is unlike any other event in the field. Bringing together a stimulating blend of information industry innovators and practitioners from around the world, the National Online Meeting breaks new ground each year, setting industry standards and rules, unveiling new products and services, and evoking discussion. With something of interest for all levels, this event is a must for anyone concerned with information, its distribution, and its value in decision making.

Each day, the National Online Meeting offers attendees a choice of sessions on a variety of topics within three concurrent tracks, including searching and search engines; online information strategies; the law, the Net, and competitive intelligence; digital libraries and Web-based education; Web resources; and more. Held in conjunction with the meeting, this year’s Electronic Publishing seminar is entitled “Exploring the Outer Limits of E-Commerce for Publishers & Information Companies.” In addition, Satellite Events will be held on the days before and after the National Online Meeting. These in-depth, full-day seminars will cover such topics as search engines, Internet taxonomies and metadata, advanced content management and information portal strategies, knowledge management, and more.
