Internet Pioneer to Address London Internet Conference

Medford, NJ, March 1, 2000— Clare Hart, the newly appointed president and chief executive officer of Factiva, will present the opening Keynote Speech at Internet Librarian International on Tuesday, 21 March at Olympia 2 in London.

Ms. Hart has played key roles in the development of information services for the corporate market, and was instrumental in moving Dow Jones Interactive to the World Wide Web.  Factiva, a Dow Jones & Reuters company, offers Dow Jones Interactive, Reuters Business Briefing, and content integration products to corporations around the world.

Ms. Hart commented on her speaking commitment at Internet Librarian International.

“I am delighted to be giving a keynote speech at Internet Librarian about the changing Internet landscape.  It is hard to imagine the world, especially the information world, without the Internet and World Wide Web.  The Internet is becoming ubiquitous, affecting how we live, work, learn, and communicate.

“In 1999, we established a new company to better serve customers of our interactive business services.  This millennium year will be the one we deliver the content, tools, and services that advance our customers’ content integration efforts and knowledge-sharing process to new levels.  Factiva’s stated mission is to be the indispensable provider of information solutions that empower and inspire our customers to make the best business decisions.  We intend to fulfill this corporate purpose, to help our customers successfully compete and move ahead in this highly challenging marketplace.”
