MediaFORM Introduces New, Automated CD-R Production
Solutions
MediaFORM, developers of CD-R
duplication equipment for the audio, video, and data-networking industries,
has announced that it has added four new CD-R production solutions to its
product line.
According to the release, the following three new automated systems
offer economical solutions for companies requiring CD-R duplication. All
come with standard 12x/8x selectable recording speed and MediaFORM’s anti-piracy
features, including copy protection, electronic watermarking, and other
features embedded in MediaFORM’s SmartDRIVE2.
The CD-3701 provides an efficient, automated method to replicate a single
CD-R. It also offers the same custom options of the larger replication
products, including MediaFORM’s exclusive relay-mode operation and “One-Button”
intuitive menuing. The 3701 readily upgrades to future CD-R/DVD drive technology.
The CD-3703 enables users to simultaneously copy up to three CDs without
any intervention and includes a spindle that holds up to 125 CDs. Users
can continuously duplicate multiple masters using MediaFORM’s relay-mode
operation.
The CD-3706’s relay mode also allows continuous, fully automatic duplication
of up to six masters at the same time, and the automatic stand-alone unit
can access CD images stored on a local hard drive. It’s compatible with
mini-discs and CD business cards. The 3706 also offers Easi-DAT and Easi-Audio
import options.
The AP1301i-t, MediaFORM’s fourth product, is a flexible, network-enabled
print station that accommodates both thermal and inkjet printing needs
up to 1,200 dpi. The AP130li-t enables high-resolution printing on 300
CDs per run, without the need for user intervention. Fully network ready
and automated, this NT-based printing station provides low-cost, yet high-quality
CD printing in less than a minute, according to the company.
