| Brodart Automation, a supplier of library automation services, has
announced its acquisition of the Media Minder product line from long-standing
business partner CRS, Inc. According to the company, Media Minder for Windows
is a powerful, PC-based reservation and tracking system that conducts all
media center operations. Media Minder's catalog and booking features make
it easy for media center staff and teachers to search and reserve materials,
even months in advance. Additional modules support options for staff-placed
reservations, printed catalogs, and networking multiple users.
"As a business partner of CRS, Inc. for over 9 years, we have been closely
involved in development, sales, and marketing of Media Minder, so this
is a great move for everyone involved," said Gretchen Herman, general manager
