Gale Group has announced that Business Monitor International and Economist
Intelligence Unit, two leading business, economic, and country intelligence
publishers, have signed agreements to have their content available through
Gale Group's InfoTrac databases and online Resource Centers. The agreements
will increase the global coverage in Gale's Business & Company Resource
Center, an online research product.
Business Monitor International coverage is provided via Gale's Daily

as well as Regional Monthly Reports & Quarterly Country Forecast Reports
for 111 countries. Among the featured countries are Brazil, Honduras, Trinidad,

Expanding access to periodical data through licensing agreements and
linking technology has been an important product-development strategy for
Gale. These new licensing agreements add 90 magazines, newsletters, and
other publications to the more than 7,000 periodicals available through
Gale products. More than 1,100 have been added since January 2000.
According to the company, Gale is noted for its commanding distribution
network in libraries throughout the world. Library patrons and other information
consumers search and review newspapers and magazines through Gale's InfoTrac,
which is best known for its technological innovation, friendly interface,
and precise searching.
