Converting Word 97 files to HTML: problems with heading styles

When formatting styles from a proprietary stylesheet are present in the Word 97 document, then these styles are converted by Microsoft Word 97 to HTML character formats. However, Word 97 heading styles (used to structure a document) are not converted to HTML heading styles.
