John Sarnowski has over 30 years experience in building digital collections. He was responsible for creating millions of images and metadata for learned societies, libraries and major corporations as the director of Imaging Products at Northern Micrographics. Projects that included "The Making of America" for Cornell University and The University of Michigan, JSTOR, and the archives of the American Medical Association. He currently is a director of the ResCarta Foundation, a not for profit whose object is to provide libraries, museums and archives with tools to create standardized digital collections. John has made presentations for library associations both here and abroad and is a previous presenter at Internet Librarian. |
