Mana Tominaga, Librarian, San Jose Public Library, Alum Rock Branch

| Mana Tominaga teaches family literacy, creates programming for information literacy, and provides reference assistance and tech training at a public library in East San José. She serves on the WebPAC Task Force, the Website Redesign Taskforce, and designed and implemented a Programs and Presenters database for librarians. Mana worked in technology publishing prior to entering librarianship, managing a testing lab for new products. She also handled the selection process for the annual Web Tools Awards between 200 and 2002, which recognized the twelve most innovative tools for Web development. Mana continues to work as a freelance web designer and administrator. |
