Linda Bedwell, Reference & Instruction Librarian, Dalhousie University Libraries
| |
| Linda Bedwell is a Reference & Instruction Librarian at Dalhousie University, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She co-chaired the Novanet consortium’s online reference service, Live Help, from 2007 to 2009. During this time, she steered a pilot study to evaluate IM and chat widgets as viable alternatives to virtual reference software and coordinated the resulting changeover to a chat widget-based service. She continues to investigate other and emerging solutions for improving online library help. |
