Fred Cohn has been with the City of Monterey since December 1984 and currently serves as Assistant City Manager. Recently, Fred has been working on a number of business process transformation initiatives within the City; creation of a regional high-capacity telecommunications network linking together public agencies, schools, and higher education and research organizations; and the start-up of a community non-profit to manage public, education, and government access to the local cable system.
Fred has a bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Irvine, and an MBA from Golden Gate University. Prior to coming to Monterey, Fred worked in the parks and community services field with the Cities of Beverly Hills, West Covina, and Fountain Valley. |
