Britt is the Director and strategic leader of Qualcomm's Library & Information Services department. Serving a global employee population of over 15,000 people, the Qualcomm Library provides just-in-time information, research and analysis to enable employees to increase performance and productivity. Prior to working at Qualcomm, Britt headed the corporate library for consulting firm, Development Dimensions International in Pittsburgh PA, and worked as a faculty librarian at the University of Oregon and in the libraries of the University of Michigan. Britt received her MILS in Information and Library Science from the University of Michigan  in Ann Arbor, and a BA from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. She has served on the IEEE's Library Advisory Council, is a member of the ITIMG (Industrial Technical Information Managers Group), Special Libraries Association, the Society for Competitive Intelligence Professionals and has authored a number of papers/presentations focusing on Information needs in corporate environments.
