Qin Zhu is the information developer and systems analyst at HP Labs Research Library. She holds the degree, Master of Library and Information Science. Prior to HP Labs Research Library, she was an information consultant at Ajilon Consulting. At HP Labs Research Library, she works in the digital library areas, including integrating electronic resources, maintaining and establishing resource reference and linking in digital environments and federated search. She also manages HP Labs Technical Reports and the publishing process. She focuses on emerging technologies in digital library and information management areas. She keeps pace with developments on information standards from national and international standard organizations. She has multiple papers published in leading publications for information professionals and academic peer review journals. Her research areas include information organization and access; information management; information retrieval; search engine and search engine optimization; data analysis, data mapping, and data modeling.
