A graduate of the University of Alaska Fairbanks (BA, 1990) and Syracuse University (MLS, 1999), Freya Anderson has worked most of her professional career at the Alaska State Library, first as Interlibrary Loan Librarian and later as Head of Public Services. She has been active in the Alaskan library community, serving as Secretary and as Vice President of the Alaska Library Association (AkLA) and as Secretary and Chapter Chair for the Juneau Chapter. In addition, she has helped coordinate AkLA conferences in Juneau and Barrow. Freya was intrigued by copyright from her first class in library school, and is now a Copyright Scholar with the Copyright Advisory Network. |
