We are pleased to present the sixth annual Internet Librarian conference and exhibition—the ONLY conference designed for information professionals who are using, developing, and embracing 'Net & Web-based strategies in their roles as information searchers, guides, Webmasters and Web managers, content evaluators and organizers, product developers, and more. As the premier tools for information managers and librarians, 'Net technologies are the focus of this conference. It provides an active forum for our excellent speakers to explore the exciting range of issues and challenges facing information professionals today as well as an opportunity for you to network with other leading-edge Internet librarians.

Our 6th year brings a new venue—Palm Springs—and new media sponsors. However, the excellence of the conference program has not changed. The 6th annual Internet Librarian conference is a mixture of leading-edge ideas, tools, expert speakers, and exciting new events—all focused on information professionals and Internet-related technologies.

Internet@Schools
School librarians and media center specialists are at the forefront of critical initiatives to use the Internet to improve K-12 learning skills and teaching strategies. Sponsored by the Gale Group, NCS Learn, and MultiMedia Schools magazine, Internet@Schools is co-located with Internet Librarian 2002, and organized to address school librarians' practical concerns, strategies, and applications, and to share tools and techniques. Internet@Schools, is a 2-day, intensive, focused conference designed especially for school librarians and media center specialists.

Preconference workshops on Sunday November 3rd and postconference workshops on Thursday November 7th cover a wide range of topics for Internet librarians.
