Internet@Schools
at Internet Librarian 2012
Trying to keep up with events, mobile technologies, ebooks, other new channels for content and curriculum, the
internet, apps, strategies, policies, funding cuts, and … gasp … everything else that’s changing
and affecting K-12 educators’ lives and those of their students these days? Of course you are, but it can seem
an uphill battle!
To help you keep up, we invite you once again to Monterey, California, for
Internet@Schools' next round of informative K-12 tech- and internet-related conference sessions.
Once again, we have integrated Internet@Schools into the Internet Librarian conference and its wide-ranging array
of sessions and tracks by making Internet@Schools an official IL track … an extended, two-day track, in fact.
Now you'll find it easier to network and share not only with your K-12 presenters and attendees but with the
broader range of Internet Librarian attendees and speakers as well.
Join us for the Internet Librarian keynotes and our own tracks and sessions on the latest ed tech and school
library technology trends, tools, and issues. Topics could include … but certainly aren't
limited to … mobile learning, web-based professional development, social media in education, etextbooks,
virtual education, cloud computing and its impact on education, and more.
The Internet@Schools track at Internet Librarian 2012, sponsored by Internet@Schools
magazine and website, takes place in Monterey, California on October 22 and 23, the first two days of Internet
Librarian. Attend the entire three-day Internet Librarian conference to share and learn ideas and tactics from
librarians, information professionals, and educators of all stripes. Or concentrate exclusively on the K-12 education
focus of our two-day track by taking advantage of special Internet@Schools pricing. Either way, you'll also have
access to a wide range of ideas, tactics, products, and services, both in the sessions you attend and from education,
library, and information industry companies and associations in the Internet Librarian exhibit hall. Join us!
