Delores Rondinella has a Bachelor of Arts in History, a Masters degree in Library and Information Science from Kent State University and has continued her studies in the field of Information and Computers. She has certifications as a Synchronous Facilitator and Synchronous Designer for online training and is presently enrolled in Kent State University's Masters of Science in Information Architecture and Knowledge Management. Delores has been involved in training and education for the past 14 years. Presently Delores is the Technology Training Coordinator of Technology Training Services of the Stark County District Library. In the past three years, she has overseen the technology training of SCDL staff and the general public including Microsoft Office Software, Job Skills Training, Database training and general computer skills. As Training Coordinator, Delores develops and conducts all computer training classes offered by the Stark County District Library as well as coordinates and conducts Outreach training programs for local non-profit organizations. In 2008, her training agenda included training two additional library systems from the Stark Library Consortium for training in the new library catalog system. In 2009, Delores developed the 12 Step Technology Challenge, spoke at numerous organzations including the State Library of Ohio's Job and Career Workshops and received formal recognition from VOYA, Voice of Youth Advocates, for her Technology Training Series for Teens. Delores began working for the Stark County District Library in 1999 and in 2006 accepted the position of Technology Training Coordinator. |
