She regularly teaches classes to NGS staff on researching companies, industries, people and experts, and recently gave an internal presentation called “Education Trends Update.” Prior to working at National Geographic, Maggie attended University of Maryland, where she earned her MLS. During her time there, she managed a website of business resources,  acted as a teaching assistant, and marketed the university's IT department.
