Chris Connell, Information Integration Analyst at the Institute for Defense Analyses, Alexandria, Virginia, is engaged in a wide range of library automation and information retrieval initiatives in support of IDA's research activities. Chris is currently developing a digital repository of IDA's research publications to be housed in both classified and unclassified environments. In addition, Chris has played a leading role in IDA's implementation of the enterprise collaborative platform, SharePoint, contributed to IDA's enterprise search initiatives, and has managed the implementation and maintenance of IDA's library system, link resolver, and databases. Chris earned a B.A. in History at Northern Illinois University and holds a M.S. in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. A resident of Washington, D.C., Chris enjoys his "reverse commute" each morning to his office in Alexandria, Virginia.
