Kitty Pope, Executive Director, Alliance Library System

Kitty Pope is Executive Director for the Alliance Library System, one of nine regional library sytems in Illinois. Previously she worked at Calgary Public Library in Canada. During 2007, she and the Alliance Second Life Library won the ALA/Information Today award for Library of the Future and one of six Sirsi Dynix Building Better Community Awards for virtual world library development in Second Life.
