Endeavor Opens New Office in the U.K. |
The office will provide a sales presence, product support, training, and implementation support to Endeavor’s European customers and prospects. Ken Chad, European account manager, will head Endeavor’s sales efforts. Chad has over 12 years of experience in the library automation industry. Previously he worked for Innovative Interfaces as its European sales executive. “We’re extremely excited about the opportunities in Europe. Ken Chad brings to Endeavor a great deal of library expertise and knowledge of the European market,” said Donald J. Reilly, Endeavor’s director of international sales.
Laurie Edmonds, European support coordinator, is a longtime library professional and systems librarian who will work closely with Endeavor’s existing European and Scandinavian accounts along with supporting training and implementation efforts for new customers. “Laurie’s position represents a commitment to proactive, hands-on customer service that has become an Endeavor trademark,” said Reilly. “We have been looking for some time to find someone with the library background, the practical technical knowledge, and the management skills to step into this key role. Together, Laurie and Ken bring a nice balance to our European presence. Both are professional librarians, have worked in libraries, and both have a long tenure in the industry. And yet, they both bring different strengths and understanding to their respective positions.”
