LEXIS-NEXIS launches Web site for information professionals

Announces the launch of a Web site designed specifically for information professionals by LEXIS-NEXIS of Dayton, OH (800). Says that the site provides company news and information, tips to assist organizational librarians and research experts, a monthly column on professional and product issues, and downloadable reference materials. Adds that users can conduct searches and citations research directly from the site, and says that twelve frequently requested, preformatted searches are also available. Notes that other features include a weekly e-mail update service, the Web version of the LEXIS-NEXIS Information Professional Update newsletter, and a training resources page with information librarians can use to assist in training users within their organizations.
