R.R. Bowker unveils new children's reference CD

Announces the release of a new reference CD from R.R. Bowker of New Providence, NJ (888). Says that Children's Books in Print on Disc, including videos and audiocassettes: Pre-K to Grade 12 ($358) contains detailed listings for 158,000 books from 13,000 publishers, drawn from the company's Children's Books in Print database. Adds that records have also been included for 107,000 children's titles declared out-of-print in the past ten years. Notes that features include 21 search categories, notations for award-winning titles, browsable indexes for each search category, keyword searching, subject searching, and electronic ordering from 22 wholesalers and distributors. Says that the product also features book reviews, peer-written descriptions, and descriptive records for 58,000 videos and 8,700 audiobooks.
