EBSCO offers Scientific American, Ethnic NewsWatch

Announces the inclusion of Scientific American and Ethnic NewsWatch in the EBSCOhost offering. Claims the announcement makes EBSCO the only company in the industry offering Scientific American, which will be included as full text articles from 1995 forward, and as abstracts and indexes dating back to 1984. Also reports that EBSCOhost will also begin providing access to Ethnic NewsWatch from SoftLine Information, a collection of newspapers, magazines, and journals of the U.S. ethnic, minority, and native press. Says Ethnic NewsWatch also covers issues in Ireland, Israel, Mexico, Bosnia, Armenia, China, Nigeria, and the Ukraine, adding that the monthly publication's database contains 400,000 full-text articles from more than 190 sources.
