Chandler, published in 1997 by Neal-Schuman Publishers, New York, NY. Says the 515-page book is a well-written, comprehensive guide to legal and regulatory information available on the Internet through December 1997, offering 947 sites in seven chapters. Notes that, for the most part, each site is accompanied by a general description, an overview of the contents, highlights of any special features, and comparisons with other sites. Adds that each chapter also includes a list of "Best Bets" in each category. Says the book would benefit from additional home page examples, and would be most effective as an electronic book. Concludes, however, the book is an informative, exhaustive, easy to use time-saver.
