INTERNET WAVES column offers tips on using the Internet for summer vacation planning and reservations. Lists eight Web sites that offer information or opportunities for purchasing airline tickets at a discount, and seven sites for researching or reserving accommodations at hotels and bed and breakfast inns. Includes advice on where to start to locate the desired information. Also lists 14 sites offering entertainment, educational, and technical learning content for the virtual summer traveler, covering topics such as dinosaurs, small business, religion, children's literature, online photos, space debris, and eXtensible Markup Language (XML).
