HP’s DeepCanyon Partners with Northern Light to Expand Search Resources |
“DeepCanyon’s mission to provide targeted, relevant information quickly to its users is very much in line with our own philosophy of making online information more readily accessible,” said Northern Light’s CEO David Seuss. “Together, the sites offer technology marketers unmatched resources that will no doubt help them succeed.”
DeepCanyon, which recently launched its Web site for computer and Internet marketers, provides market research reports for sale from leading analyst firms as soon as they are released, in addition to aggregated market information and resources, editorial commentary, and other tools to support business plans and assist in decision making. With the addition of Northern Light’s powerful search capabilities to DeepCanyon’s vault of documents, site visitors have access to a much broader array of information.
When users are searching for market research at DeepCanyon, a Northern
Light link appears on the search results page
to supplement DeepCanyon’s document database. Once at Northern Light,
users can limit their searching to market-research Web sites and Special
Collection documents or search the complete Northern Light database, which
is currently the largest of the major search engines with more than 200
million Web pages and more than 14 million articles, according to the announcement.
Additional specialized search forms are provided to further refine searches
by limiting specific subjects and document types or by searching a specialized
content source, such as Investext research reports or MarkIntel market
research reports.
“Our partnership with Northern Light gives DeepCanyon users access to high-quality Web sites as well as a broad range of premium content,” said Laura Cory, general manager of DeepCanyon. “Our users have come to expect immediate access to vital information to assist them in their business lives. Northern Light understands these users and provides services to greatly assist them in decision making.”
