Internet@Schools
West 2004!
This information-packed, 2-day event was planned
by and for people just like you — a K-12
library media or technology specialist with information
technology and the Internet on your mind, who
is looking for ways to bring both into better
focus to further your students’ learning
and your colleagues’ teaching.
From the opening keynote
on the latest in the online research environment,
through tracks and sessions on new Web resources,
getting everyone into and using your media center,
coping with technology and its fallout, and ramping
up research skills, Internet@Schools West
2004 provided a technology “infoboost”
that will inspired and served attendees well back
at the school or media center.
Featuring FOUR Tracks:
• The Web:
What’s New Out There Now?
• Adding
Value Through the LMC—How to Get Everyone
on Board
• Technology
& Its Fallout—Helping Students &
Teachers Cope!
• Ramping
Up Research Skills
Internet@Schools West
was sponsored by MultiMedia
& Internet@Schools
magazine, and was held in Monterey, CA in
conjunction with Internet Librarian 2004.
Internet@Schools West
will be held on Monday and Tuesday, November 15-16,
2004 so attendees can participate in the co-located
Internet Librarian conference at a reduced rate
and take maximum advantage of the Internet Librarian
Exhibit Hall.
