robyn andrews came to libraries late in life. she has been at furman's james b duke library for five years, having no previous library experience except to borrow books and then bring them back late, with a sad, forlorn look while doing so. so you won't hear words like boolean fall from her neophyte lips. in previous lives she has worked for barnes & noble in every capacity from newsstand manager to children's department manager to community relations manager and enjoyed mostly every minute of it.
however, she is a techno-geek, wanting to get her hands on all things techie, which led her down the path of helping to implement iPads in her institution and making sure every uses and enjoys them, even if it kills them! |
