Michelle Liu is an Assistant Professor of Information Technology at Marymount University. She received her doctorate in information systems from Boston University. Her academic background includes a BE in Textile Engineering with a Foreign Trade minor from Nankai University and a Master of Management from Tianjin Polytechnic University. Dr. Liu’s research interests broadly center on the areas of design, enterprise architecture, and the uses and impacts of emerging technologies on social activities and behaviors. Her teaching areas include software engineering, database technology, electronic document and records management, and mobile apps development. Liu’s research has appeared in many journals and conference proceedings including Information Systems Education Journal, Journal of Computing Sciences in Colleges, and the proceedings of International Conferences on Information Systems.
