H. Frank Cervone is the managing partner at Cervone and Associates, based in Chicago, IL. His prior experience includes more than 20 years of leadership in developing systems and services that have helped advance teaching and learning in higher education environments. Some of his major areas of interest include management of information technology and information organizations; accreditation in higher education; data analysis; the effect of social networks on innovation; and the use of library and information resources for advancing teaching and learning. The author of four books in applied information technology, multiple book chapters, and numerous articles, he writes a regular column in OCLC Systems and Services on digital project management.
He has served as the chair of the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) Standards and Accreditation committee and is currently the LITA (Library Information Technology Association) representative to the International Federation of Library Associations and Agencies (IFLA).
He holds a MSEd with a specialization in Online Teaching and Learning from California State University, an MA with a specialization in Information Technology Management in Information Agencies from DePaul University, as well as a Ph.D. in Management from Northcentral University. |
