Bryan Irwin has over twenty years of experience as an architect, primarily working with colleges and universities in the design of libraries and learning environments. Trained as both an architect and landscape architect, his work is characterized by an inclusive, collaborative process with a strong emphasis on creating work that expresses a certain inevitability in how it connects to the environment and expresses the client's aspirations. His clients have included Abu Dhabi University, the University of New Brunswick at Saint John, University of New Haven, and Northeastern University. Bryan's work has been recognized for design excellence by the American Institute of Architects. His projects and writings have been published by various journals, and he has lectured and taught design studios at Washington University School of Architecture, Harvard Graduate School of Design, and Rhode Island School of Design. |
